I didn’t ask for this, but I was tasked with it
Was born into it, but then I threw a fit.
They said “now you get to live” so now I live with it,
Wanted out for a while, then I ran out of it.
The men were talking, I heard them so loud.
But I only remember waking up.
He said it like he was standing so proud,
I was sad they were just now breaking up.
Don’t tell that joke, it hits too close to home,
But I’m asking myself if he knows what that is?
He said “we all end up dying alone,”
I don’t know if he knew what he was saying?
I bet my hair would look dumb if I saw them again,
I bet my shirt won’t fit in a few days.
I’m better off living in a world of pretend,
There was only a brick wall in the way.
Typically, I call it comedy,
But it feels more like a lobotomy.
Lachesism and tragedy;
They would both be alright by me.
It was a painful trip and a burning fall,
I got what I deserved rightfully;
The piles of gold are nice and all,
But I do miss my family…
